How Does an Intensive Course Work?
Come spend a week together with like-minded adults and older teens to learn specific concepts and skills in an accelerated format. Travel from out of state, abroad, or nearby to participate. Prior to our consultation, you’ll be prompted to complete a case history and some assessment worksheets. Various intensive courses will be run throughout the year, check out the schedule to find one you are interested in. Courses will focus on various concepts including:

Intensive courses are a supplement to weekly individual or group sessions. These courses can reduce the number of individual or group sessions you may need. Clients working with other speech therapists are welcome to attend intensive courses for accelerated learning. Intensive courses are an opportunity to get up and running with various concepts, tools, and supports in a shorter period of time.
The intensive therapy courses have the lowest hourly rate of all the options.
No. If you are outside of Connecticut, you must find housing for yourself for the intensive course. Recommendations are available during the consultation. Meals not provided.
Yes, after receiving written permission to do so.
Once you sign up for a consultation you will receive a digital intake packet via email that includes a case history form, various release forms, and questionnaires/rating scales that can all be filled out digitally on your phone or computer. My HIPAA compliant secure system is easy to use. You will also receive an invite to your client portal.
