Stuttering Therapy Retreats

Do you want a powerful experience that leads to living in more freedom? Encounter the power of community, belonging, and transformation with others who stutter. This unique retreat will invigorate and challenge you, expand your comfort zone, increase your social skills, provide opportunities to present/public speak and get you out in life LIVING! Devote five days (9-3 daily) to your well being and communication. Whether you live in Connecticut or are traveling from out of state or abroad, you are welcome here. Held only once a year in the summer with a maximum of 8 clients.

Hope for Stuttering’s Group Therapy Retreat will run from July 22 – July 26th, 2024 in Milford, CT. Location on Seaside Avenue 1/4 mile from Ft. Trumbull Beach.

This is the only retreat I am running this year! Spaces are limited as I take a maximum of eight clients. This retreat is for college-age, adults, and mature older teens.

Stuttering Therapy Retreats are a supplemental unique experience to weekly individual or group sessions. Clients working with other speech therapists are welcome to attend therapy retreats for accelerated learning. Therapy Retreats are an opportunity to get up and running with various concepts, tools, and supports in a shorter period of time, work on carry-over in real life situations, and connect with others who stutter. 

Stuttering Therapy Retreats have the lowest hourly rate of all the options.

No. If you are outside of Connecticut, you must find housing for yourself for the Therapy Retreat. Recommendations are available during the consultation.  Meals not provided. 

Yes, after receiving written permission to do so.

Once you sign up for a consultation you will receive a digital intake packet via email that includes a case history form, various release forms, and questionnaires/rating scales that can all be filled out digitally on your phone or computer. My HIPAA compliant secure system is easy to use. You will also receive an invite to your client portal.
